All Other Sealcoats Are Obsolete!
Introducing Performance Systems through SPICE (Selective Particle Ion Charge Enhancement) Mineral Technology. SPICE Mineral Technology is a result of advanced construction material development by Lockheed Martin* Missile and Space Company during a decade of vigorous change; wherein, LMMS expended substantial effort to transplant advanced aerospace core technologies into commercial products.
What can SPICE do for your sealcoat?
SPICE can provide accelerated cure rates under poor drying conditions. |
SPICE allows for a longer season with more predictable results. |
SPICE offers the potential for nighttime work. |
SPICE does not use/need biocides or harmful chemicals. |
SPICE is highly water-resistant once cured. Resists re-emulsification. |
SPICE helps prevent leaching or tracking after cure. |
SPICE can be made with high solids loadings, which provide improved bridging performance and the ability to build single coat application with double coat performance. |
SPICE react with waterborne traffic paints |
BENEFITS TO THE PRODUCER
Using SPICE integrated SteelGuard 60 or SteelGuard 70 you do not have to deal with fiber, gels, biocides or the problems each of these can bring to your current mix. SPICE is environmentally friendly and since it has no organic components, it does not deteriorate as readily as current products.
SPICE
was designed around scientifically proven water transport mechanisms. SPICE formulas, when produced and applied in accordance with approved procedures, cure much quicker than conventional sealcoats.SPICE
formulas have a built in mineral polymer, which cross-links during the curing phase. You do not have to add any acrylics or latex to improve performance to a "plus" material.BENEFITS TO THE CONTRACTOR
Accelerated curing properties change the scope of application restrictions. Night applications now become possible. Extended working days at the beginning and end of each season allow for more income. With faster drying and high solids single coat applications approaching or exceeding the mil thickness of current two coat applications, jobs are completed and striped in less time than ever.
